Discrete service line · Executive Medical Associates

Operational medicine & executive protection

Fellowship-trained operational medicine, available as a discrete service line of the firm for executive protection, tactical medical direction, NASA / SpaceX contingency, and disaster / MCI work. Clearly separate from EMA’s hospital-operations advisory work on ED boarding, throughput, and quality under survey pressure.

This is not the primary offer on the public site. Operators looking for boarding and survey work should start on the firm homepage.

01

What this line is

A second, quieter line of the firm: medical direction and operational judgment in environments that are not the hospital floor.

  1. 01

    Available as a discrete line

Law-enforcement EMS, SWAT medical direction, federal special-response and protective-detail medicine, NASA / SpaceX contingency planning, and disaster / MCI readiness. Useful when a principal, a team, or an agency needs a physician who already works in those systems.

  2. 02

    Not the hospital-operations practice

ED boarding, throughput, CMS survey response, and quality under crowding stay with the firm’s primary advisory work. This page exists so that work is not mixed into the offer health-system operators came to discuss.

02

Capability in this line

Firm capability, framed as experience with and track record in national operational-medicine work—not a list of current appointments.

  1. 01

    Law-enforcement EMS

Fellowship-trained operational medicine. Track record in SWAT medical direction as a sworn reserve asset, and in the medical judgment those operations require.

  2. 02

    Federal special response

Experience as medical director for ATF Special Response Teams, and as senior medical officer for special operations including U.S. Secret Service protective details.

  3. 03

    Protective and transport medicine

Track record in executive-protection medicine and critical-care transport medical direction—available when a principal, a team, or an agency needs a physician who already works in those systems.

  4. 04

    Space, disaster, and MCI

Experience with NASA / SpaceX contingency planning, trauma-program liaison work, workplace-violence prevention, and disaster / mass-casualty readiness. Navy Reserve medical-corps service; FEMA Incident Command among credentials.

Selected scholarship

Operational-medicine publication that sits with this service line rather than the hospital-operations homepage.

  • Preparations for a controversial speaker and anticipated volatility Journal of Special Operations Medicine, 2020

If this is the line you need

Same first conversation with the firm. Say so if the work is operational medicine or executive protection rather than hospital operations.

This page is a discrete service line of Executive Medical Associates, not the public offer. Hospital-operations conversations belong on the firm homepage.
